The bishops of England and Wales are holding a National Eucharistic Pilgrimage and Congress in Liverpool from 7 to 9 September 2018.

Eucharistic Congresses are gatherings of clergy, religious and laity which promote an awareness of the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church. The last International Eucharistic Congress in England was held in 1908 when permission for a public procession of the Blessed Sacrament was refused.

Congress participants will engage in sessions focusing on different dimensions of the Eucharist and the daily celebration and adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. There is also a much wider aspect to the Congress and that is the preparation done before and the legacy after the Congress in the parish and schools around the country.

The purpose of this webpage is to aggregate, where possible, resources from dioceses and NBRIA-affiliated organisations that will be of use to parishes and schools in exploring the themes of the Congress and the central place of the Eucharist in the life and mission of the Church.
